.Archie Carr:
.A Naturalist in Florida
A man slowly snorkels down a crystalline spring-fed stream, carefully searching the sandy bottom. Aquatic plants wave in the current, while wary fish keep an eye on him. Suddenly he dives, and moments later surfaces triumphantly -- holding the foot-long fossilized tooth of a mastodon.
.....The man portrayed in this documentary re-creation is internationally renowned zoologist Archie Carr (1909-1987), who for over 60 years roamed the wild places of Florida.
....."A Naturalist in Florida" tells the story of Archie -- and of his favorite wild places and the creatures that live there.
